It has crept upon me all of a sudden.....and I am not impressed!!!
Until very recently, probably even 3 months ago, I have felt secretly smug about the fact that compared to friends of my age, I have not really had any signs of ageing.
But out of nowhere, on a sunny day in December, I was applying my make-up and to my horror noticed that under my chin in the middle of my neck, was an area of crepey looking skin!!!
I have become slightly obsessed with it - applying extra serum, moisturiser etc. but to no avail. That was, until Sunday, when my girlfriend and me visited Calcot Spa near Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
As part of our spa day we both opted for the Rodial Glamtox Facial ... I guess there was a very small hopeful part of me that thought this would help my skin look younger, but in all honesty I had written the crepey neck off to some form or other of invasive treatment...
The facial itself as an experience was truly heaven sent - all kinds of delicious products were massaged into my face, neck and shoulders and I emerged feeling totally blissed out. When I came home I didn't give any of the treatments further thought, but did feel hugely relaxed and happy after my day of much needed TLC.
It was only this morning, when applying my usual anti-ageing products post shower, that it struck me....the crepey neck had gone!!!!! And I really do mean gone!!! I turned my head to every angle physically possible and no matter how close up I looked I could see no evidence of aforementioned danger zone!!! What an amazing result!!!
So if I were you I'd get dialling.........
